Finding the right profession is like finding a needle in a haystack. And even though we believe that the World Wide Web has made it easier for all of us, it’s not exactly the case. The internet may have made it easier in terms of cutting transportation expenses and the like, but at the same time, it has been made a bit more challenging because of the millions of choices now made available. This can be very difficult for the typical Filipino searching for the perfect online job.
One of the biggest misconception I have encountered with job seekers when it comes to online jobs, many of them think our work is a “fly by night” operation . A lot of them think of it as a pencil pushing job where they will spend their time doing redundant tasks and be poorly paid. Perhaps they think this way because they have this erroneous belief as they were mislead by one of their unfortunate friends who had a bad experience in their online job. Fortunately, these are just isolated cases.
